Terms & Privacy Policy

Codriver is an iOS application to record vehicle costs and display corresponding statistics.

This document includes the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to disclose how and when the application collects and uses your information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control.

Information Processed

The processed data is used to operate the app. We use the following information to provide the app’s features:

Vehicles & Expenses

Data provided by you is stored on your device. We do not have access nor are we able to inspect any of this data.
If your device is connected to an Apple ID, data provided by you is additionaly stored using the Apple iCloud service. Usage of iCloud allows for data synchronization across devices logged into the same Apple ID. You may choose to disable iCloud and manually delete your data from iCloud by navigating to System Settings > Apple ID > iCloud. Contact & Support

Should you choose to contact us via the contact function in the app, an e-mail template will be created with information about your iOS device, the current app version and a diagnostics file. This information is used to facilitate our support. If you do not want to provide this information, you can remove it from the e-mail before sending.

In-App Purchases

To record vehicle costs and view statistics in the app, a paid subscription (in-app purchase) is required. You can purchase the subscription for the subscription period offered. Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of this period.
Payments for in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple via your Apple-ID account and the means of payment stored within. The app never actively collects information such as your name, address, email or credit card number associated with the purchase. Information you provide when completing in-app purchases may be further processed by Apple. The app does neither control the amount of information that is collected nor how it is further used by Apple during this process. Disclaimer

The operators of the app assume no liability or warranty for the accuracy of the information provided. Despite careful checks, there may be errors in the calculation or display of the data. Furthermore, updates of the operating system or app updates may lead to errors that may lead to a partial or complete loss of data within the app. To prevent possible data loss, regular backups using the app's export function is recommended. There is no legal recourse to the operators of this app in these and any other cases.
